Which DTM Extra-curricular Field Trip was your favorite and what are your take-aways from the trip?
My biggest take-away would be the huge investment made in ‘Sports Infrastructure’. Since I had an opportunity to see lots of sports events during my extra-curricular activities, I was able to see lots of awesome infrastructures here in Korea. When thinking of developing sports, I believe relevant structure and standard infrastructure on the site are very important.
How’s the sport industry different from your country?
Sport industry in my country is still at an infant stage. In other words, it is at the stage where it is difficult to tell a child that he or she can take a sport as a career. Still, there are some movements to make sports stronger from professionals. Also, for the first time, we hosted the African Union Region 5 Youth Games where 10 countries participated. So, the sports event is happening for the first time like this, and some good infrastructure will also come up. In terms of growth, we are growing but quite slowly.
