Meet Cassandra Haller - 9th Batch, Thai
What is the most interesting thing about DTM?
During the covid-19, my life was utterly dark, and my country was under lockdown. My path has been halted until I applied to this course. Since the day I received the news, my life has changed and my journey to Korea has been exciting. I have met different people from all over parts of the world. DTM has added many chapters to my life, bringing happiness, challenges, excitement, connections, friendship, and more than just beautiful memories. It assists me in becoming an improved version of myself.
Which DTM Extra-curricular Field Trip was your favorite and what are your take-aways from the trip?
The ice hockey DTM_Extra_Curricular field trip is one of my favorites for experiencing how to play ice hocky with expert athletes, learning a great deal from the coach, and having so much fun with my classmates. The main take-aways that I think are the part of how I would apply the knowledge in the particular teamwork of the team, how the coach motivates the team, how the teamwork develops, and how the program elevates the team to the highest level.
How’s the sport industry different from your country?
First, Korea is considerably more developed than my country. The sports industry and sports development are significantly superior to mine. I adore how Korea’s sports are improving to approach world standards as much as possible. Korea’s international success is also attributable to the caliber and determination of its athletes.
Which DTM Curriculum Module was your favorite?
The sports event module taught by Professor Park Seong-hee was my favorite. I have learned a great deal about sport event organization, which is enhancing my skills through my current activities. This course will acquaint me with critical aspects of hosting sports events and legacy management. This course taught me how to plan, implement, and evaluate when organizing, hosting, and conducting an actual sports event. In addition, the professor provided hands-on knowledge and practice in using the necessary tools for harmonizing any sports event through class lectures and projects.
What is your plan after DTM?
After completing DTM, I intend to continue my career, business, and pending project. Additionally, I want to be a better version of myself. Therefore, I will continue learning and gaining knowledge through participating in numerous future seminar activities. Furthermore, I will create opportunities for the next generation to have a better life and chance by advising them on how to join the DTM in the future.
