Will you introduce about your organization?
NPC was created in August 21, 2011 and recognized by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). NPC is a government organization with headquarters in Yaounde. H.R Majesty Jean Jacques Ndoudoumou is the president, Etienne Songa Bidjocka is the Secretary general. The official website is camerounparalympique.org. Cameroonian National Paralympic Committee (French: comité national paralympique camerounais, CNPC} is the primary body in Cameroon for the promotion of sports for people with disabilities. It has four national civil federations namely: Cameroonian Sports Federation for the Visually Impaired (FECASDEV}, Cameroonian Sports Federation for the Physically Disabled (FECASDEP}, Cameroonian Federation of Sports the Intellectually Disabled (FECASDI) and the Cameroonian Sports Federation for the Deaf (FECASSO}. The organization's key mission is to develop Paralympic sports from grass root to elite levels across the 10 regions that make up Cameroon via nurturing of partnerships for the mobilization of multiform resources, train technical, medical and administrative staff, led research for development and peace in Cameroon. CNPC has a vision of developing para-sports in Cameroon so as to assist in creating a society that is more inclusive and equitable for people with disabilities.

What is your main role?
National Technical Director of sports My main roles are as follows: 1. Sensitization; Encourage the practice of Para sports national sensitization campaign in the 10 regions through the installation and functioning of regional Paralympic committees. 2. Detection, selection, orientation and follow up of Para athletes in collaboration with the 4 national civil Para sports federations. 3. Reconversion; Guarantee a suitable athlete development pathway with emphasis on reconversion after retirement. 5. Real estate development; Build adapted infrastructures for Para sports and engage in provision of adapted equipment. 6. Partnerships; Sign MOU to engage potential sponsors in diverse domains. 7. International competitions; Organize the preparation and participation of Para athletes in international qualifying competitions and Paralympic Games. In order to facilitate this procedure, we organize annual regional championships, the national Paralympic games, international competitions in Cameroon. Also, we conceive and implement a national competition calendar.

How did DTM experience helped you to upgrade yourself in NPC?
Personal management; I met with a real resistances and opposition from my immediate collaborators due to rivalry and jealousy. At DTM like any human gathering these human ills also existed but I managed to curb with diversity by accepting the opinions of each person and yet, passing across my messages.

What is your future goal?
Pursuing a PhD in the domain of sports management and becoming an international technical official in Para athletics. These attainment shall permit me to best render useful services to people living with disabilities globally.
